Bummer...but be proud of you that you are being proactive about your health care. You're not whining...you're legitimately bummed, and that's okay. Let us know how the biopsies turn out....

I am so glad you told the other woman about the website. I was wondering around almost a year on my own. I thought there should be a place where people with skin cancer could get together and talk about things. One day I got lucky and found this group on line.

I know how you feel about being bummed about the spots. Please let us know about the results of the biopsies.

You have the right to be bummed about it, but you are doing something to make it better, so hang in there! I had a red/black/purple eye after my biospy and was very self-conscious of it. But it went away. So keep a positive attitude and come here when you need a lift or a shoulder!

I'm really sorry to hear about the biopsies. I'll keep my fingers crossed that everything is okay. As I'm really still new to this, I completely understand the feeling bummed. It took me 1 month to get grounded after my BCC diagnosis on March 5. I went through a really intense grief process and probably will again as my surgery approaches and after the surgery. Just make sure that you allow yourself to feel the feelings and vent and cry and do whatever you need to do, whenever you need to do it. It is a process. Sending you a big hug!

I'm trying to handle this the best I can, but I went thru MOHS in Jan /08 for a very large Basal cell that was between my lip and my nose. Dr had to basically remove my upper lip and then put me back together. The hardest ting was that it took a very long time for the swelling in my lip to go away and as it is my upper lip now looks like I did collegene and is bigger then my bottom, so I still feel disfigured to some extent I have been thinking about getting the collegene in my botom lip to try to make them match. you will probadly never see a icture of me because of this. So I'm a little freaked Dr was very concerned about the one above my eyebrow took a big biopsy about the size of your little fingernail.

Sweetie, I am so sorry you are having such a hard time right now! You are such support for all of us..please don't think that when you need us, it's whining! You deserve and I, for one, feel very honored to be able to be here for you and to be your friend! I am able to pray for you and try to help you as you have so warmly and with a lot of true love, helped me!

Oh Diana - so so sorry to hear about more biopsies. I remember having about 4 spots on my face done at the same time about 6 months after MOHS - I just lost it. It is hard! Better that you catch them early - good for you. Hopefully the biopsies are good news.

And good for you for telling the woman about our group! YAY! I wish I had known about all of you before my surgeries!
