I am so glad you let us know your true feelings and have realized that you do need a lil extra help! I was totally blown away when I found out about my BCC and it wasn't on my face! So many people just don't seen to understand that this type of cancer may be "common" but, It scares the shit out of us and it changes our lives! As far as the guys you were dating...
Sweetie, tell them all to go to HELL!! If they only see outward beauty, they aren't in any way good enough for you!! You've been a wonderful friend and have had so much to deal with yourself!
Hun, I'm here for you any time you need me and please don't hide those feelings from me. I really want to be able to give a little love back to you... you given so much to me and have made such a big difference in how I've 'Gotten" through this so far.

I am the person you want around when I'm falling apart. because I can't and won't sit still. I tore out a least 15 feet of hedges today, yesterday I went to my friends and planted all the fruit tree she had just bought 6-7 of them.
If you were to try and hug me when I'm upset I won't let you, because I know I would just fall apart. I grew up in a world where you can't do that and you can't be weak.
I am so gratefull to all of you, and I send you so much love back. You guys helped me and let me be upset , I so much appreicate all your understanding, and support..
You guys are my ROCK...

I too have had many surgeries: mine is for Superficial Spreading MELANOMA. We all know what the heck you are going through.
My scars are 6-8 inches long, and consist of two mostly on top of each other on my back, one along the under side of my right breast, and one that runs vertically from the top of the same breast down to my nipple. I go in TODAY AT 2:45 to get yet another battle scar for a severely atypical nevus on my abdomen.
WE ARE WARRIORS. Every time you look at that brave face of yours BE PROUD. You are brave, whether you feel it or not!!! Believe it!
Do NOT be embarrassed to go outside: run outside and SHOUT the fact that you are a soldier. If anyone looks at you funny they are just CURIOUS: they are NOT thinking, " Ooh, how weird. How repulsive"... you would not do that, so why do you think they are? A little tough love for you! :) Seriously, I know it is HARD to talk yourself up, but you will be so happy when you do. It is so awesome that you were able to seek help. Turn to your Lord for peace and strenght. Pray for little things at a time. Pray that you have the strenght to go to the mailbox one day. The next week pray that you can walk right through the grocery store with your head held high! Teach everyone that it is NOT about outward appearances. You are stronger than you think!!!
May God be with you today and everyday, sweetie.
We are SURVIVORS, hear us ROAR!!
( I am such a dork.... ) LOL
Sometimes I get pretty moody. I get tired of looking for new spots and now I get to look at the moles also. I feel like it is up to me to find these things. I am the one who found most of them and had the doctor biopsy them.
I am scared to death to find one on my face. I am worried about the fact that new ones keep popping up. I am waiting for biopsy results on two new spots. I just recently had surgery on my back and had a mole removed on the back of my leg. The back was BCC and the leg was mild dysplasic mole (nevus).
Family does not always understand. My husband gets it, thank goodness.
Hugs to everyone !!
Please see my post about "Anyone BCC 5-10 years."
