Single Parenting Support Group
Today being raised by a single parent is not uncommon. About three in ten children live in a single parent home. The most common type of single parent home is one with only a mother. However, single father homes are the fastest growing type of family situation; 60% growth in the last ten years alone.
You are definately moving in the right direction. I will keep you in my prayers....
I too, had a difficult, to say the least, breakup. Do whatever it takes to fight for fair custody, money and school...You are worth fighting for and so is your child !
No matter what happened in the past we can only change the future. Focus on that and treat yourself with love and respect especially when others don't. There is a lot of support for women out there...the women's advocacy center can and will help for free to help guide you to get what you need financially and emotionally to make what's Right happen.
Don't let some dick rule your life your child will thank you for it later!!!
I know I am in a similar boat and starting over with a 7yr old boy in the middle of no where going back to school and begging my ex for $, all the while he gave me herpes and warts and he's out screwing everything he can and won't tell his next victims...there should be laws against men who behave like this!
Try the advocacy center near you and let me know how it goes...you are not as alone as it feels!
Its time to get a lawyer. All of this sounds mighty fishy
