Shyness Support Group
Shyness is a feeling of insecurity that certain people experience while being among others, talking with others, asking favors of others, etc. The initial cause of shyness can vary. Scientists have located some genetic data that supports the hypothesis that shyness is at least partially genetic.
Look, you need a partner who understands how you are like and what freaks you out. Be friends with your crush and explain your situation, your condition to him. If he is really worth it, he will stay and support you, come what may.
Tell him (or whoever becomes your love interest) not to go directly into kissing first. Maybe start off with warm hugs? Then you both (especially you) will develop a trust, a comfort level with one-another and I'm sure then there will be no problem, after that. Just say to yourself that he loves you and then kissing would not be a problem. The guy needs to understand you. Best of luck, dear!
Anyway working on your shyness includes also an understanding of which are the triggers of your sudden changing of behavior. It's because he knows your friends? It happens with guys you don't know enough or you know too well ( and can judge )?
I know that when you say shy, you mean scared. But scared of what? Answering this last question will take time, but every time you'll be one step closer to your desires. Hope it helps
I felt so alone after that. Like I was the only person in the world who'd freak out over a simple thing like a kiss.
So I just want to thank you for sharing your story, it made me feel not so alone anymore.
