Shyness Support Group
Shyness is a feeling of insecurity that certain people experience while being among others, talking with others, asking favors of others, etc. The initial cause of shyness can vary. Scientists have located some genetic data that supports the hypothesis that shyness is at least partially genetic.
I am 1 19 years old and I'll be a sophomore in college in the fall. I never been on a date with a girl, never even kissed a girl before. It's getting really depressing. I kinda afraid of what other people are thinking of me, like if I'm gay and scared to come out or something. Honestly, I've thought about it too a few times. But, I know I'm not gay at all, just really shy. I still find females attractive. I really want a relationship with a female. Has anyone else felt this way before?

Well, the first thing that can possibly do is to attend goups and special events at your school...it wouldn't hurt and it would allow you to become open to the poublic...i used to be shy until i started to sing outloud, accidentally, and other girls would notice...they woiuld say that i had a nie voice and to keep on singing...so i just ask them if they knew any duets...and that's how i got my previous girlfriend...but thats beside the point...find things that you are into and look around for groups that hold the same interests...i know for a fact that you will be able to find someone if you open up a little...i did and it turned out great...well not great, but it was a start... :)i just know that you open up in time to find someone...

don't care about what people think. Many people in my life has asked me whether Iam lesbian - they think it because they find me too cold around boys, the reason is I just feel shy....otherwise I think the post by mikey above me is really helpful, I would tell you the same :))

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
