I agree that if micheal jackson hadn't missed out on his childhood and had such a controling father he wouldnt have had the obsession with kids / peter pan lifestyle. I think inside he was still a kid. Why did EVAN (jordans father) build a wing on the side of his house for micheal to live in??? I know if that was my young son i would not encourage a guy of micheals age to live so closely with him. The story stinks which ever side your on. If he genuinely wanted to do right by children and was acused of sexual abuse that would crush someone as it did him. In his music videos he often looks at the pain people suffer...was he just extrememly compassionate or repeating the cycle of abuse?
getnbedr - i hate my abuser to, i hate the name micheal jackson cause it makes me think of my abuse...i'm just not certain...as NONE OF US CAN BE that he did abuse that one kid, trust me i would want to kill someone who i knew had because it's one of the worst crimes.

I like to think that God knows the truth... and would have dealt with him based on that truth. That means it's out of our hands.. we just have to accept it and move on with our lives. Yes he was talented with his music. That I cannot deny.

And yes I agree with mtnmamma. Farrah Fawcett is deserving of a big tribute. She was an awesome woman. And is most definitely with God and the Angels celebrating her life.

For some reason, I'm still on the fence about Michael Jackson and pedofilia. It's weird, because I suspect EVERYONE, yet I try to give him the benefit of the doubt.

I guess I just wonder if he reverted back to a kid during those times with the young boys, and had an innocent sleep over like many kids do. The parents knew they could set him up to make their millions, because he was so weird. No one likes to think that the "normal" guy from next door is capable of such things, but rather the weirdo. And Michael Jackson was definitely weird, what with his ever changing facial features, bleached skin, and high-pitched voice.

I just fail to care. I didn't especially enjoy his music much, tho I know he was talented and it was popular back in the day. I was OK with the Jackson 5, but honestly not my favorite music from that time frame. I just have to wonder why the one person with such a chequered background gets all the hype and publicity over his passing and another that seems more worthy of the time and publicity gets ignored. I really don't care if he goes to heaven or hell, or if he was acquitted because of his money or because he was innocent. That is in God's hands, and I have a life of my own to be concerned about. Not for me to judge, but I DO have my own opinion and that is that.

I can't believe that people are blinded by his musical success-he's a pedofile regardless!!! It's like worshippping Hitler!!!! Sorry it's just so hard watching tv these days when pretty much every other channel is talking about him. It's very triggering for me.

Don't get me wrong-I am glad that he is dead but it is so sad that he happened to die on the same day Farrah Faucet died and that the media is paying more attention to his death than to hers. She deserves the attention so much more-especial with the attention she is bringing to help solve cancer!

i just want to add one thing, please do NOT compare him to hitler. almost nobody can compare to hitler. i lost over half of my family b/c of him. i don't think michael jackson did anything that bad that millions of lives were lost b/c of him....yes he was bad, but you cannot compare him to hitler

i agree with coolie for the most part. but i mean, he was a mental case. im not completely sold in the fact that he was a child molestor. yes, maybe he liked the idea of pedofilia (many do, sometimes its even because of abuse) but if he didnt act on it for real, then i cant hate on him. yeah, he did look a little odd, you would too if you were dyed from black to white. but just because he fit the profile of what some call "the child molester look" DOESNT mean that he was guilty. i actually believe that the family, because of his "look" and his wealth, thought they could milk some big bucks out of him by using their kids. Um, this might be a completely off topic question but what is "the child molester look"? From what i have seen, heard, experienced - there is no look - these peope are from every background and so completely diverse that you really can never pick it - to the ousitde, the main person who abused me is an oustanding model citizen, and that adds to why 90% of the reported abuse cases get off scot free... because the people wo know this perso simply cannot believe that this person would even think about doig such things let alone doing them... so please enlighten me, what is the "child molester look"? so i can be more informed.

As for MJ< I am in no place to judge him... and i dont believe he is either in heaven or what people commonly refer to as hell, but i can 100% say that if he was anywhere near here, my kds (if i had any) would be nowhere near him. I understand that you all have been abused and I am extrmely sorry about that, but a man has died and you guys are whinning about his life being celebrated? Last time I checked, he was only accussed, and never proved to be guilty. He was actually acquited in May of 05. You say its cause he has money? Look at the evidence in the 93 case. Go read about the tape recorded conversation between the father and someone else. Funny how NO ONE has EVER found SUBSTANTIAL evidence of these supposes allegations. I was at the club last night and thats all they basically played, it was hard enough for me to be at the club but playing this mans music is a little more then disturbing...i like 1 song from him because i did a dance to it when i was younger and being on stage dancing is my one release, but other then that , he doesnt deserve it all
