I only like his music. I dont like what he did but his music was a legend.....

After Michael Jackson was exposed his life changed and he did pay in many ways ... perhaps not enough, but his glory days had ended. There was a price.

When my children asked who Michael Jackson was I only mentionned the musical aspect. My children already know that abuse is bad and have no need to hate a stranger.

On the other hand, after he was exposed I did not consider purchasing anything with his name ... so that tells me where I stand ... I judged him too.

I woke up to my friend texting me this morning that he had died. I've just carried on like it's a normal day. He is probably right now in processing....going over his life, what he has done, and then rightfully so he will be taken to the place he deserves to be. I do however feel for his family and friends who cared for him. Even though he could have done what he was accused for, (which in my opinion he did do it) there are still innocent people who loved him unconditionally and they will be incredibly devastated. But he will be learning his lessons about now... that's for sure...

Well I am a bit twisted when it comes to news of death anyway because I am not stricken by grief. I have often wondered if it makes me somewhat callous to be this way. As far as Michael Jackson is concerned, I did feel a mild sense of sadness because he was such a messed up human being. Probably as much or even more so than any of us. There were times when he attempted to publicly speak about the abuse he experienced as a child but because of the family it was all hushed up. Don't get me wrong I am not excusing the fact that he was a pedophile, I just believe that these are the types of behaviours that possibly manifest when someone is shut down from ever dealing with their own shit. I also believe that he was talented beyond belief, in many areas, and that he was exploited for these talents by his parents. In my opinion he lived a very sad existence devoid of any real love. Just like many of us have. His choices and decisions were very poor and did affect others in a bad way and definitely no one should feel the need to forgive him for that. I just wanted to remember that he was also suffering and that no amount of fame or money made all of that pain go away.

I could not believe Michael Jackson died. I never bought any of his CDs, and I will never do. I used to like him, but not anymore after knowing he was molesting children. I am not glad he died, but I'm sure I won't miss him.

me to..well people on facebook having a go at people calling him a peado are pissing me off today. If people want to pay tributes thats their perogative but dont expect everyone to feel the same. Micheal Jacksons name is a trigger because the first thing i think is child abuse and then my abuse..... The only people that know what really went on is him and the kids. IF he did abuse them then thats irrepairable and IF he didn't then it's still negative as it was one of the parents trying to make some quick cash out of a serious issue that causes everyone here such problems. Eitherway i dont like hearing his name and can't wait for him to be burried and have something more interesting happen. If he abused those kids i hope he's burning right now.....for the sake of the kids i hope he's in heaven. I too developed a hate for the man once he was connected to child abuse....

the first thing out of my mouth was at least no more kids will be molested by him. my husband was mad at me because he feels he was aquitted he is innocent but I know better than believing that that is always the case.

I personally did a little happy dance...wrong as that sounds. I know he was acquitted for molestation and abuse, I know he paid hefty sums to keep it all quiet, I know he had his own mental problems, but I believe he was guilty as sin, and was never put in a position where he was actually STOPPED from having access to more children to abuse, and that makes me angry, that the children were not protected from him.
I also find it hard to deal with someone that I am convinced was a child molester being deified at death, when another icon of the same era who died at the same time is forgotten, even tho she was a good person & role model for the most part, and fought valiantly against the cancer that finally killed her. I am talking of Farrah Fawcett. There is something wrong with this picture....

for anyone judging micheal jackson...i too am sceptical but not certain..please read of his trail etc....The actions of JOrdan's father EVAN and what he said dont seem to me to be that of a protective father...more of a man after money. It's this and the complete lack of evidence from anyone else that make me question ,maybe its evan we should hate for making up allegations which in my book is almost as bad as the abuse. The Chandler family all live in huge mansions as a result...?????? i am not defending him i am asking everyone to make your mind up from the information given.

just my opinion, yes he had many problems, if he had a normal childhood who knows if he would have done the same things. one thing nobody can deny is that he had a lot of talent

I have been trying to figure out the same thing its actually made me pretty angry hearing about all the good he has done and peoples reasoning that he was never convicted. So what! Just because he wasnt convicted doesnt mean he didnt do it... He was a sick man and he can no longer hurt anyone.. for that I am thankful.

Michael was not convicted. Michael was a victim just like all of us.
The parents of the boys took money to shut up, why? Maybe because they fabricated the whole thing. THEY sexually abused their own children by making them practice and rehearse abuse just so they could get rich. Yeah Michael might have made it easy for these filthy people to take advantage of him because he was different and didn't hide it well. The parents of these boys should be in jail. Michael is dead. Leave him alone. Let God do the judging now. Lest you be judged.

Hell no, Imagine, but it is not my place to damn him to hell either.
Perhaps time would be better spent thinking about those who are alive and dealing with grief or guilt or remorse (or relief of anyone who actually was a victim) because of his death rather than wasting time beating a dead man.
