Still young but don't want to keep going

Hi I'm 18 years old and my life just isn't getting better I'm not suicidal but just kinda wish I was a shadow or wasn't here anymore. I was diagnosed with ptsd yesterday for a trauma that isn't very researched which still makes me feel alone. Why must I always be alone.

Keep working at healing - you will not always be alone. It is a lot of work and it takes time, but in the end it will be worth it. When I was your age I really wanted to die. I stuck with therapy and each year got a little bit better. I ended up with a lovely husband and two kids, something I really believed I would never experience. Healing does happen if we work at it.

I agree with DW that you will not always be alone.

Even if what you experienced is not well researched you can still heal. The feelings you feel, we all feel ;we all just got these feelings from different circumstances. We are united because we share the same feelings. If you look at it this way, you will never be alone.
