I am so sorry you had to go through this alone.
You did the right thing in going to the police.
Have you been to therapy. You are not a whore and you did nothing to deserve this. It is not your fault. You are a victim and a survivor.

Unfortutanatly family members find denial find denial alot more acceptable than acceptance.........
Confrontatation may help but only if you are truly ready......... you need to be strong enough with the consequences of the confrontation.............
I am so sorry for all that you have had to go through. Especially that your mother hasn't been concerned about you. When we aren't supported by the one person that brought us into the world that can be more damaging than the abuse/rape itself.
I am not sure if your in therapy or how much you have had but I would suggest doing so and working on yourself and your future.
I don't think you are going to get the results or acceptance you want from your mother. I dont' mean that in a cold way..I just know it too well in my own life. My mother never cared about me and I will never understand that, but I can't and haven't let it hold me back from happiness in my own life!
I know your pain first hand and I will tell you to keep putting energy into this is so damaging to yourself. Please put that energy into healing yourself and moving forward.
I am here if you need someone to talk to!! Big hugs to you !!!!
If talking to your mom is something you believe can help you heal, than I think you should do it. She deserves to know what happened to her daughter and about the man who hurt her.
You're NOT a whore. You're a survivor. I hope this helps, friend. If you ever want someone to talk to, I'm always here.
You'll be in my prayers. BIG hug and lots of love.
