very sad title.
I can't even kind of imagine to imagine that statement when from a victims perspective.
i do know that no-one can take another's innocence.
an abuser can get in between a person and their innocence.
but only because culture/society does an awful job of supporting/helping/accepting that you, sexysub56 and anyone else that was ever abused are innocent : free from moral wrong; without sin; pure

Refurb, you make a great point. Another thing that has always puzzled me is the EXTREMELY OFFENSIVE PHRASE, "SHE WAS ASKING FOR IT."

"she was asking for it" is consistent with an abuser's real lack of power
abusers like power, they like power over another
because by manipulating and exerting power over someone they can keep their knowledge of their own inner weakness at bay
