It's awful to think that it's almost been a whole year since this happened, but still at least once a week I turn around thinking it was just yesterday leaving that hospital bed.
My old college roommate had been invited to a small house party where we had the impression that there was going to be many people there (mind you, this was a very small town). Now taking into account, as we show up, there's only approximately six other people. All guys. Basically all of them had already been drinking enough to be considered drunk from the start, so that should have been a major red flag for us to leave, that and the fact we were the only girls there. As we walk in we are greeted by the monster who was also the same bastard that thought to invite us. We aren't even in the house for more than an hour or so and he begins to message me on social media. Asking me to join him to go "do things" in the other room. "It's okay, no one will bother us." "We will be alone." "I'll make it the best time of your life." All things he said to me thinking that was attractive or a "turn on", when it was not. Not at all! After he realized I was not going to voluntarily join him, he then asks me to go to the garage so I can talk to him and tell him why not. Thinking in the back of my mind, "Maybe this guy will understand and just back off if I tell him", so I agree.
Worst. Mistake.
We do start to talk, I explain to him about the fact I've only met/seen him twice, there are random people in the house, along with the fact my roommate and I had to be back at the room for bed for class. He kept telling me, "It'll be alright, no one will bother us" even something SO SICK as "Well your roommate can join, it'd make it even better". I wanted to slap him, kick him, just cause some sort of pain for how disgusting that all sounded as it left his mouth. But he saw in my face that I was not interested, so as I started to make my way to the door to go back into the house he grabbed my wrist, pulled me to him and started to kiss me. As I started to push him off of me he managed to shut all the lights off in the garage to where I could not see a thing. By now you might think that was the scariest moment for me, well it was not. As I could feel his hands grabbing my shoulders, pushing me backwards, I began to get scared. He wouldn't move his face off of me for me to scream or to say anything for that matter for anyone to hear. The slightest bit of chance I have to yell or scream or do anything for that matter, was maybe half a second when he let go of my shoulders to push me down onto a reclining chair that was in the garage. Then it was back to macking on my face, knowing that his weight was too much for me to push off or injure enough to get off of me. That was when I was most terrified I have ever been in my life, nothing will ever terrify me more than knowing I was too weak to protect even just myself. He removed my pants at this point, he accomplished what he had wanted the whole night, and my body was broken. I couldn't move. Couldn't wrap my mind over what was happening. And in my mind all that was going "Why am I letting someone do this to me? I have a voice, just scream, yell, make some sort of noise." But then I began to get terrified of what he might do to me if I did. Next thing I saw, he had pulled his cell phone out and began using his camera to record what was happening on that chair, then he tried to shine it on my face. When I heard him whisper "Let me see that beautiful smile, look at me. Look at the camera." I began to tremble and shaking, put my hand over my face. That was enough to get him to put the phone away, but not a way that he might let me go. After his phone was gone, he forcfully grabbed both hands holding them together with just one hand, he then used the other hand and began to choke me. Just one was not enough for him though, he then released my hands and proceeded to wrap that hand around my throat as well. That's when I looked up and prayed, hoped, just thought that either someone may come out to save me at this point or I would just die right there. Neither happened, I decided to try self-defense and scratch his hand away. Once he finally let go, as I was choking and coughing he began to continue to constantly take his phone out and record more.
