When I was 10 my moms "friend"(they had a thing for 16 years but he was married) started to touch me then it grew into more physical stuff. In my late teens I really dealt with this stuff. I stopped blaming myself, the nightmares stopped. I stopped being scared of running into him. But recently, with my therapist, I've been going through my childhood more. So the friends I told when I was in my teens, I don't talk to them anymore. So I told my best friend about this. She was great but I wasn't sure about telling my therapist because I don't want to relive that again. But I do know my unhealthy relationships stem from this and I'm tired of being how I am. So I told her st the end of our sessions so we couldn't talk about it more. I'm just anxious if she'll bring it up more. I don't want to be scared again. I don't want to think about this. I don't want to be made to feel guilty for not pressing charges. Because there's always those people.
This is never going to end.
