i've been seeing my therapist for more than two years every monday. this past week i have graduated to every other week. i'm proud.
i took a two month sabbatical from the therapy. i wanted to see how dependent i was of it. it did me some good. i continued to work out of my books: the courage to heal and trauma through the eyes of a child (amazing book for me). i am learning to use the tools to help me with such things as anxiety attacks.
prior to the sabbatical my therapist and i were doing this process where i was mentally visiting my past. i was going into this "basement." i thinbk we were trying to conquer my fears through this process. i was uncomfortable. i started to develope these bad dreams the night before the session. i believe my mind went into this protective mode. the mind is an amazing machine.
i'm smiling a little bit more. i'm speaking to people and they are now speaking to me. i am able to incorporate the tools i have learned to calm me down. i'm still having some difficulty leaving my home if i have no purpose to - i had to have a reason to leave (work/college courses). i'm more in the present.
i'm reading the Bible more: Deuteronomy has been prefound to me. i am going to work on my anger. i have bad thoughts about people who i have allowed to treat me bad - thou shall not kill. anger falls under that subject/commandment.
God can help if you give him room to do so.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
