are you saying you only remembered being sexually abused when you saw the video or that is what made u tell your bf?
its a tough situation. Your bf sounds very caring and is willing to stand by you but i know first hand its hard to maintain a relationship when you are having bad emotional issues.
You have to do what is best for yourself. is staying with your bf making it harder for you? on the other hand he may be a great source of support during this hard time and perhaps you should stay with him for now and just see how things go.
whats most important is for you to work through the bad feelings you are having and reach a place of peace and happiness.
only you can decide if you can do this better alone or with your bf by your side.
For me personally being with my bfs caused more problems for me. I should have first worked through my issues before being in a relationship.
Just dont let your bf put any pressure on you. You can only recover at your own pace and should only do things you are comfortable with. you shouldnt force yourself to be intimate for example if that is triggering for you. He will need to be respectful and sensitive to your needs.
I am glad you are having therapy and I hope your therapist can help you with these decisions and overcoming the hurt you are feeling. take care
If you love him and he is willing to wait on you then
Girl, he's worth it. Don't leave him. And also what I'm
Learning now is he isn't the one who did this to you,
So don't take it out on him. It's hard for me, because
I'm going through the same thing. Just trust him &
Love him.
Hope I helped, :)
Lala.
