I was molested and raped by my father (4-16), my brother (9-16), and other various people. I am very confused because sometimes when my brother raped or molested me my body did some terrible things. My body would shale, heart would race, breathing increase, and felt almost excited. I don't understand what my body was doing. I didn't want it, but he said I did because of what my body did. What did my body do? What is wrong with me? Did I really want it because of my body? It is scary, and I am feeling so shamed

Well, our drought isn't broken but our gutter is. Got two big storms rigth after each other and, wait for it, a tornado warning. Now, I was already running for my go-bag when I heard thunder. The air felt wrong. The sky was getting a color to the west. Been there, lived that, time to hide.No funnel touched down but the radar indicated rotation, and boy was it visible from the ground. Different...

My cat is going on trial for crimes against skink-anity. SIX in six weeks. Three this last week alone. The crack is maybe 1/4 inche wide. Maybe. Skink skitters past, her paw shoots out, her claw hooks in, she yanks, and somehow, having defied physics... WHAM. Skink-o-rama.Now, don't get me wrong, it's nice that she's a pesticidal maniac, but OMG. Skinks do no harm. They don't come inside. WTF.So,...

Your body didn't do terrible things; your body did what bodies usually do in response to sexual stimulation - it reacted. These are purely physiological events and you really cannot control them, even if you're disgusted with what is happening and you don't want it... Your body is going to have other plans, I'm sorry to say. It's like being very scared by something - say, for example, you're walking across a street and a car seemingly comes from nowhere and nearly hits you, misses you by a foot. Your body will react - your heart will race, you might shake, you might suddenly feel more alert and you might even have the instinct to run in the opposite direction of the car. You didn't want to be scared, but you were, and your system reacted, too.
Unfortunately, it's the same deal in cases of rape. Even if every fiber of your heart and mind and spirit hates what's happening and you don't want it... Your body is going to react. Because it feels good.
Please don't let them use that to convince you that you wanted it or use it to justify what they've done. You did nothing wrong. You didn't want it. You have nothing to be ashamed of.
You're just human.
I really hope you're going to be okay. You're so brave to reach out and ask these questions.
I hope this helps quiet your worries even a little.
I work in an office where we have a sexuality clinic , I cried to one of the workers the other day about my issues I'm dealing with. She mentioned one of the men who abused women had said to her "well she wanted it her nipples were hard and she was wet" then the worker explained to me that your body reacts that way to protect yourself from further harm. If you weren't wet in your area there would be more potential for it to hurt you even more during a rape incident. I thought that was interesting , how our bodies react when in horrible situations to keep up from further harm like that. Everything you have felt is normal , hope this made you feel a bit better xox take care of your lovely self .
I was molested at a family picnic when I was 5 years old...
the guy who molested me got me aroused... at 5 yrs old, I didn’t understand what was going on. And the creap kept telling me how much I was enjoying it because of the reaction he was causing me..
it felt somewhat good... yet extreamly confusing.
When he was done, I was a walking zombie.. no idea how or what to process.
It took many many years of reading books... ( before the internet) to learn that my body was actually designed to respond in the ways it did...
that it was NOT my fault,
The way your body responded, your abusers knew it would do that, and they knew they could use that to hurt you..just as the creep did towards me..
no matter the lies they told you, nor the lies you’ve blamed yourself for.. they are just that.. LIES! You are one very strong person, who has a good heart. You are not damaged, nor not worth anything.. ( these are the same things I felt for many years and have been working through)
You are a survivor, a powerful person!!
You are welcome here, and we are here to help and support you!
Hang in there!!
