Maybe you need time to sift and digest it all.
You have received a lot of information since you joined DS and I agree with donnawanda that it may make sense if you take a little time to sift through it all and digest it. But we are always here to help you through and support you - an answer any questions you may have.
it took a really long time for me to realize that my SO didn't have any ulterior motives. that he was actually being kind to me bcuz he believed i deserved kindness, but i was confused -- i kept waiting for that switch to go off n the demands to start, but they didn't.
it takes time n patience, not only with others, but also with yourself. take time to feel what you're feeling n process it.
for a long time, i kept going back n forth -- between the "abused" mind n the "rational" mind. keep your head up n don't stop trying.
