Hi it has been a while since I've been on here, I thought I was doing okay, but sometimes it just hits me nd feel like crap and I start crying for no reason some of you on here know that I was seagull abused by a family friend when I was growing up. And that I finally had the courage to go to doctors about what happened to me and the doctor told me I had depression because of what happen to me. I get angry very easy and lately I find it very hard to sleep at night because I am scared I will have another nightmare. I just really need someone to believe me when I say what happened to me because my mum doesn't or doesn't what to believe it I just don't know what to do I can't afford to move out so I'm stuck reliving the past all the time.

Upon his departure, he remarked, "I am in many people’s pockets; no one will believe you." Have you ever grappled with the silence that follows sexual assault, where the perceived impossibility of being believed necessitates self-censorship?

...why would someone make this stuff up?
The fact remains that she did let you down, she did misjudge her friend. She did expose you to someone that clearly cannot be trusted. I am so so sorry that you are in an unsupportive environment day in day out.
Is there anyone that you do trust that you can move in with? It sounds like you need to get away. I know you say you can't afford to move out, but would it help you to know that you were taking steps towards being able to, like saving up for a deposit? Or if you are still in school, knowing that the better you do there, the more likely it is you can escape?
I'm sorry I can't be more helpful, just know that there are people here that will offer you all the support you need and are here if you need an ear to bend :)
