Is it true that you are true not over the act until you said it out loud?
I can said I was abused on the computer, or write it, but those words can't seem to come out of my mouth.
I thought time would heal my wounds but in my case time has just made it harder.

I think saying it outloud is the first step to healing, I definatly have not got over it since I said it. I still struggle to say it to new people though, I have to wait for hours till it comes out.

There are many stages to the healing process. My abuser died over 18 years ago and it wasn't until the past couple of years before I could talk about it. I still can not sat the "M" word and I get uncomfortable when I hear it.
