Hi everybody I just wanted to know if you are OK with the fact of a partner of a survivor being here with you. Please let me know if you would prefer this to only be for survivors.
My wife was abused when she was a young child for many years by her brother. I have live with the horror of what she went through since she told me 18 years ago. I don't know and can't really relate to what you all have been through. However, from the bottom of my heart I would love nothing more then try and help. I have tried to be the best supporter for my wife of 30 years and continue to. She is not here for one reason and one reason only. She does not like computers and does not know the first thing about them. She does however meet with others online in our weekly meeting.
Please give me your thoughts.

I'm so happy to hear you have support. My family has a very difficult time trying to understand it to. All I can tell you is that it is difficult to see these thing happen to all of you. However coming from a fairy tale really is real, were not any better we just grew up in a different enviorment. What I can tell you is that my Mom is by far more supportive then her Mom. I would strongly encourage you from my perspective to open up and let her know how difficult it was. It took my wife years to confide her abuse to my sisters who have embraced her more then her own sister. I think you would find so much compassion from his family. I know exactly what you mean about opening up and how difficult it is for you beacuse again my wife was/is the same way. I suspect it has to do with the horror you went through..... You are one strong stong lady to speak up and YOU have protected other from being abused... YOU TRULY ARE A SPECIAL LADY it had to be so difficult on you but you know you did the right thing... SOCIETY OWES YOU A DEPT OF GRATITUDE YOU HAVE PROTECTED THE INNOCENT FROM A MONSTER... I hope you find happiness you truly do deserve it !!!!!
