If you are talking about having issues with a new guy after being abused in the past here is my suggestion. It will take you a while to be completely comfortable with anyone but to start you need to tell him. If he is worth it he will work with you it stop when he needs to. He needs to respect you feelings. I have been married for 4 years and with my husband for years prior. I still have issues occasionally from abuse that happened 20yrs ago by someone who is no longer living. Sometimes I feel dirty, sometimes I cry, sometimes I am overly aggressive (which I then can have issues with rejection). He tries his best to understand, he always supports me and always respects my feelings. We get through my emotions together.
