Many people have said that when they first remembered being abused the memories came with no feelings attached, and the feelings came later.
In my own case, it seems it's taken a lifetime to be able to approach my real feelings instead of taking refuge in anger, or getting outraged about other people's situations but not being able to feel much about my own.
So I think your situation is not unusual.
