So I have been fine its been years since he got put in jail.... but he's getting put this spring and is going to be living only 2hrs away from me. And now the nightmares, flashbacks, and anxiety is back. I can't even go in a restroom with out panicking and at first I didn't know why, but I was just in the shower and a flash back came now I know where its coming from. Oh and I am still finding his shit everywhere even tho we have moved my step dad is everywhere and he knows everything about me. He told my sister about my accident, and my engagement before I could. My mom is telling him every thing how do I get it to stop?

How about talk to your parents not to talk to this guy? Take steps for your safety like arrange security cameras, get gun or take self defense... what is it that this guy did?

I am sorry to hear about these awful flashbacks! Get yourself a good support group of family and friends who you can be around and are positive people to stand by you through this storm. Seek out wise advice from older people or a counselor. Try talking to the police department and see if there might be any precautions that you can take and plan ahead for.
I would even get involved in a church and get to know people there who can help you find peace there as well.

That's the thing the guy was my father who raped me for 6 yrs before I found someone who believed me. So my family is rocky, but my fiancé's family have taken me in and for the first time in 5yrs I feel like in wanted. I've tried counselors and they passed me on to the next one, I had a new counselor every week for a month before I get tired of it.
