Speaking up is really, really difficult. I do know how difficult it is to trust. Is there a possibility that you could write a letter and give it to someone? Or do you think you could reach out to an organisation that helps survivors of sexual abuse? Send an email?
Supportive hugs, you're not alone in this.
On the other hand, many people disclose and are not believed, or the abuser is protected and shielded from the consequences. Maybe you sense that that is what would happen.
Even if you don't feel ready to disclose to people who might take action, you should reach out for support you need and deserve. Coming here is a great way to do that. Another way would be to reach out to RAINN.org via their hotline or chatline.
