I would think that your friend was so lost in her own pain that she would not, could not, consider what effect she was having on you, but I do agree that you need to either talk or journal out your feelings on this and try to heal that wound you received during your friend's suicide attempt. We all know how it feels to be powerless and helpless because of our experiences with sexual abuse, and this has to have triggered some of those same feelings all over again. I urge you to try to get it out and deal with this as it could very well pile up on top of the other things you are having to go through in your recovery.
She is safe and getting help now. So that means YOU need to make sure of your OWN safety and health now.
