Is it just me or has anyone else ever noticed how these molesters screw up the minds of the victim (or survivor, depending on where you are emotionally) and the victim/survivor starts to act out in different ways so that perpetuates a mistrust in those around the victim/survivor so that the other people won't believe the victim/survivor or they treat the victim like if they told nobody would believe them..the victim falls in to this pattern of destruction whether it be internally or externally which only causes those outsiders to send even more signals of unacceptance and mistrust towards the victim/survivor and thus keeps the secret a secret? Did I say that right so you could understand? It seems like a twisted cycle that you would think the proper authorities would recognize. I'm sad to see people self destructing because of their secrets and knowing that those around them won't believe them if they told because they are labeled trouble makers or the black sheep or ...whatever. Is it just me seeing this cycle?

I don't think so. I myself, have gone through the very cycle that you explained here. Unfortunately, some ppl take a great deal of time to heal from their wounds. I wish that there were more ppl out there that could have more compassion for those that suffer. I think that if that happened then there would be lees ppl that take a lifetime to heal(such as myself).

We have no control over what others choose to believe. Sadly so many don't "want" to believe and many do put out messages that come across as mistrust or anger at the abused ...usually for messing up their little fantasy world. All you can and must do, it continue to tell the truth and keep telling it and hope others come to their senses....others will choose to believe or not but that's all about "them"....it hurts but ultimately the truth is all we have and we damn well shouldn't need to convince others....

I can empathize from being from an indirectly involved. My godson's sister was discovered to be victimized last year, which I have learned had gone on for 5 years actually. I was stunned at the family's reaction. Her immediate family called the authorities and placed this relative in jail. But alas, it caused a rift creating factions between those who side with the victim and those who deny the truth. I try not to get involved, but I was very close with the victim and can't help but feel victimized as well.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
