You have nothing to be sorry for Jadie. I'm just glad you're getting the help you need. Unfortunately nightmares goes with the territory. I hope you're able to think clearly and that the doctor explains really well what's going on. I don't like to be touched either so I get that. I think the more women doctors and nurses that can help the better.

Rest as much as you can and get better soon. I just realized my comment about women doctors and nurses wouldn't apply to you. Probably anyone touching you feels pretty yucky. I hope you're able to get into therapy to help you sort out all you've been thru.

Hi Jadie, It's so nice to hear from you! As KAdunn says, you have nothing to apologize for - I'm just glad to hear from you and to know that you're feeling better.

It is horrible to be in hospital and have strangers touching you. But we have to remember that they are doing it to take care of us, even if it feels bad. I'm so glad you're being taken care of.

Please try to take it easy, think about the things that make you feel happy, like the animals at the school, and get well in your own time.

Thank you. I am feeling really down and grumpy and crabby today :( it's just a really bad day and I feel like I want to go 'home' but I dont know where that is because I havent really got one. I wonder if I ever will.

Higher percentage than ppl realize, but folks who work in healthcare, sadly have abuse in their background. They do this type of job to help out anyone they can, and thus is the best they can offer, without telling everyone what happened to themselves.
I know here in the states, I know many nurses, aids, and doctors! Who were abused in their youth, or teen years.

I also know paramedics, firefighters, and first responders who have abuse in their past life...

The reason I tell you this is, saying these folks don't want to hurt you, they really do care, and know more than you think.

I'm not saying everyone who does these type jobs were abused, but the number is higher than many realize!

I personally know some nurses, (sadly plural) abd paramedics (again plural) who were sexually abused in the past...

I would trust my life with these over the 'normal' ones.
Sometimes I travel through some areas knowing which departments would respond if I was involved in a wreck over others.

Ya know, I did have a point... I think it was something about trusting these folks, even though I know it's hard sometimes... They understand a lot more than you think!!

I hope you can find a way to feel safe inside yourself. it is awful to be touched when you do not like it at all. I hope you get back to your normal routine soon. that should make things a little easier for you.
