How does your husbands masturbation hurt you?

How does your husbands masturbation make you feel?

If he were open and honest, and even asked your permission, would your feelings be different?

Would you say yes or no?

Would him asking give you some empathy for his sex appitiate and make you want to take care of his needs or would it irritate you?

Would you react differenty at different times in your cycle?

I just need to get outside of myself and get some perspective on this from women.

This post was from a male SA appealing for some honest answers from wives, in a quest for some greater understanding.
The wives were hesitant, but layed it all out there, emotions and all. The SA's were respectfully listening and all was well, until you butted in Longhaul.

**I know this is going to piss some people off, but....that was your initial post.

You then proceded to belittle the women for our feelings, and the reasons for staying. You already know that both Cali & I disagree with your opinions, and yet you still had to come in and be negative and less than helpful.(hello... the rules)
Everybody else here can listen and be supportive, why don't you give it a try.

This is a Sex & Pornography Addiction Support Group. If you aren't an addict(person who is unable to stop), then could you at least try being supportive. Because at this point (actually its been months), your helping nobody.

AS A MAN, AND RECOVERING S/A MAYBE I CAN ADD MY PERSPECTIVE HERE TOO. I WILL NOT WATCH, LOOK @, OR HAVE ANYTHING TO DO W/ PORN, EVEN THE SOFT CORE THEY PLAY LATE NIGHT ON HBO, CINEMAX & SHOWTIME. MY WIFE DIED ON 10/11/08. WHEN I MET HER I WAS ALREADY IN RECOVERY, SO I DIDN'T SCREW UP THIS RELATIONSHIP, AS I DID MY OTHER TWO MARRIAGES, BECAUSE OF MY ADDICTION. MASTERBATION, FOR ME, IS OUT OF THE QUESTION!! STILL IS TODAY, ALMOST 2 MONTHS LATER.I WILL LIVE A CELIBATE LIFE UNTIL I'M READY FOR MY NEXT RELATIONSHIP, IF THAT DOESN'T HAPPEN THEN I'LL BE CELEBATE THE REST OF MY LIFE! YOU SEE MY FIRST MARRIAGE WAS OPEN, WE DID IT ALL, SWAPPING, 3SOMES(BOTH WAYS, MY EX LEFT ME FOR THE LAST ONE), ORGIES, ALL THAT STUFF. MY SECOND MARRIAGE WAS A ONE NIGHT STAND THAT TURNED INTO 5 1/2 YEARS OF HELL ON EARTH.THE REASON M IS OUT OF THE QUEATION IS SIMPLE, TO ME @ LEAST, JUST LIKE THE CRACK ADDICT ( FROM AN EARLIER POST) IF I GIVE IN TO IT,EVERYTHING THAT I'VE DONE ALL THESE YEARS IS FRUITLESS, AND I'LL BE STARTING ALL OVER FROM SCRATCH. LIKE AN ADDICT ON ANY OTHER KIND OF DRUG, MY SOBRIETY WILL BE GONE! GENTS, AS HARD AS IT IS, WE'VE HURT THE WOMEN WHO LOVE US, & IT'LL TAKE TIME AND COMMITMENT TO HEAL THE WOUNDS WE'VE CAUSED, BUT IN THE END, I THINK OUR WIVE ARE WORTH IT. I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I think you are admirable to be able to face a pain like that and keep your sobriety. I can barely get through a day without wanting to act out. So to hear that it is possible to keep your head at a time like this gives me great hope.
