Sexual addiction, also sometimes called sexual compulsion, is a form of psychological addiction to sexual intercourse and other sexual behavior.
My wife and I are discussing what a healthy tempo is. Most literature says 2 to 3 times a week. I would say that daily would be fine with me, she would be happy with once a month. Neither are reasonable.
So my question is how often do couples here ACTUALLY have sex. I think women often feel like they are having sex more often than is really true because they factor in the constant pressure from their spouses for sex. Lots of men think it is not happening enough so even if 2x week is happening it does not feel that way.

Thank you for noticing that there is a mutual dance of anger here. Unfortunately up until this point my immaturity was never in question as the issue.
Having said that, I have no expectation that any discussions will result in real change on her part as it (whatever it is) is my fault. So my real question must be how do I figure out how to cope on the long term with uncertanty, and persistant anger without becoming apathetic to my marriage?

I prefer daily sex but my partner is interested in what seems to be the normal 2-3 times a week. He says I make him feel pressured and then he doesn't want to do it.
