Sexual addiction, also sometimes called sexual compulsion, is a form of psychological addiction to sexual intercourse and other sexual behavior.
I could really use some advice. Does anyone use any form of blocking app? i want to know if there is any that will help me completely break free from trying to look. I cant keep doing this. Im afraid one day its going to be too much and i will end it for good

I use soaring safe on my phone because that was my primary device i used to access it. My wife had control of the app and it blocks what she decides. The problem with apps like this is that it still takes willpower on your part as they are easy to bypass. My suggestion is to find a hobby or something to do when the urge hits. Making it a conscious decision to do that instead of porn. No app is completely foolproof. And come here often and get yourself an accountability partner. Someoneto keep you in check and discuss when the urges hit

Thank you. I have looked at alot of apps and even tried a few, but overall i didnt want to pay for it so i didnt keep them. I really do need an accountability partner.

I know that you can put content restrictions on an iPhone if you go to settings and search screen time it will be there. The only problem with that is it asks to create a password so the key is to have somebody else make the password so you don’t feel you can put the password in to have a relapse

Join a SA group, and tell a partner, or friend and get someone real to help.

I'm also wanting to find an app. But maybe I should reach the SA line. I didn't know they discussed porn addiction as well
