A place for those of us with non existent (or dwindling) sex lives to gather. Whether it is to share just how you are feeling or what you miss, or crave or fantasize about (or perhaps have tried with unexpected results?)… I am hoping to find somewhere for those of us fellow "horntoads" to come and chat when we are incredibly lonely and our toys are not enough to keep...

Maybe Not So Much...

I did seem to have sex on the brain often (especially since I haven't had any with a live willing partner forever), but I am adjusting to toning things down. Seems silly to have such high hopes , needs and desires when It is unlikely to happen. I still long to find that connection again with another , but fearing I am going to end this life just as lonely as I did start it out.   There is a sadness when there is so much love to give, but noone to share it with (that is willing to give as much back).

There is something called the law of attraction. I have seen it work many times in my own life. If there is something I want, the first thing I do is ask myself why I want it. . First, I consider myself worthy of having it, and then I picture myself enjoying it. Then I get it, but whenever I stayed in that cycle of sadness and self pity, I never got what I wanted. The universe always says yes to the signals we are sending so if we are holding on to sadness then we get more of the same. If we are generating happiness and want something to add to that happiness then the universe has no choice but to reciprocate!.. It took me over 50 years to learn this and ooohhhhh.......if I only knew back then, what I know now.......what I great life I would have had! Not that I regret my life in any way because it brought me to a point where I had no choice but to ask for help from the universe.
It takes practice but I guarantee it works!

I certainly can second that every word is truthful I guess until we find it. Many fall victim to drugs and alcohol as a way of substitution which of course is only a temporary fix and usually leads to some sort of addiction

I will try to just get on with my life... doing what I need to to find the freedom and joy (from within, hopefully) once I can move forward and concentrate on what I want, need, enjoy. I still hold that glimmer of hope to find someone to share it all with, but for me, I am afraid to truly look for and expect since I have been disappointed so many times. (And from what finallyawakenow said , even hope is not so good because then I am looking for the future instead of living in the now. )

Afraid my now has always been something to always dread since I have never been able to express or experience what I wanted. (not without ridicule ) I am at a loss here.

    check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

     I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
