Im going through a very difficult situation, I am a sexual person. But I have not had sex for many years. I miss it very much. I am getting a divorce due to my unhappiness with my marriage .....and sex is only one part of it. Not being loved and getting affection are key issues.


I miss just being held and kissed and ravaged. I miss the tenderness and the excitement. I am an attractive woman but am beginning to feel really bad and lonely.

I was married for over 17 years. After just 5 years, hubby completely shut down... both physically and emotionally as well as no help with anything. Being completely ignored and discounted and not even touched anymore , my self esteem (which was not the best in the first place) went down the toilet and I was feeling about as wanted as a garden slug. I started to open up and share with so many others .


You know the line in the song... "We don't always get what we want.... but we get what we need. " ? I would find so much .... understanding, support, as well as sharing some very steamy fantasies with others also starved for affection and so much more. .While that does not fill the void, it helps.... as well as a toy or two. (wink, wink)

PS I am sure you are still a warm, caring, attractive woman who still has alot to offer.( Don't let a closed down "hubby" convince you otherwise. ) We ALL need to feel wanted, needed, sexy and loved,

I'm a man 47 and in a sexless marriage. It's not just women who crave closeness and touch. I totally get where you are coming from. But divorce is a huge decision. I hope things work out

Divorce is a big deal.... But after feeling ignored, discounted and not even feeling wanted anymore... It is a very lonely empty existence. Takes courage to make a choice not to continue to settle unhappily forever.
