Sensory Integration Disorder is a neurological disorder causing difficulties with processing information from the five classic senses, the sense of movement, and/or the positional sense. Sensory integration disorders vary between individuals in their characteristics and intensity.
How about trying a special 'squishy' toy she gets ONLY at that time of day? Those squishy toys (soft rubbery toys you can find at most stores:

...are most helpful!
You can get a few and trade them off. She might look forward to the end of the day, seeing you and that squishy toy so that she doesn't even realize the transition. That particular toy is calming and it contracts the muscles which is most helpful. Here's a great website I found with many more great ideas that you may find useful.
