Sensory Integration Disorder is a neurological disorder causing difficulties with processing information from the five classic senses, the sense of movement, and/or the positional sense. Sensory integration disorders vary between individuals in their characteristics and intensity.
The point is how is your child doing in school, and the school IS REQUIRED to support him to be successful. Who gave that dx? that doctor should tell you what the help he requires is and how that should be delivered. What did they say?
The school needs to provide him the environment and skills to succeed. What are they planning to do to keep him at grade level?
