I can totally agree with what you said. I would like one too! But where to find one is the problem, as you said. I don't think a dating site is the answer.

I did try meetup a long time ago gustokitty, but pretty much all they did was go eat out & I'm dieting & it was mainly women. I have moved way out in the country now.

I am still married, but when the divorce is final, I don't want to marry ever again and I don't want a man in my house, he can sleep over but will have to leave in the morning.

I have had 2 marriages 17 years with the first and he had a problem keeping his zipper up, and the last one was bad for the the day we got married, it yoyoed for 19 + years.

I have been on online "dating" sites for 10+ years on and off...just be honest about what you want and what you don't want. There ARE others who want just companionship, especially those newly widowed.

I was married for 30 yrs. and been divorced for 9 yrs. I just can't bring myself to getting married. I too would rather have a female companion that I could have a healthy relationship with and spend time doing things together, however not live together.

I agree and understand with what you say, I myself just want a companion. I am a widow of 2 years, I would like to find someone who I can hang out with. Not all the time though, I'm not looking for marriage or to live with anyone either. I was married for 35 years, and I have tried a couple of online dating sites but have not made an online connection. I am kind of disappointed with what the men on the dating sites want in a partner. But I am in no hurry to meet someone, it will happen or it won't.

I know exactly how u feel,... I have been checking out this site for a week and only just now found this particular room,....... Wanna chat,... U let me know,.... I am available,..... Chatting is a smart way to get to know someone a little before u meet them,..... I bet it's more fun' therapeutic ,......and less stressful than meeting someone in person right off too... I know how u feel,.... Going places alone only seems like the cup is half full,... No matter how beautiful the place or ride or whatever,...... But I can say from experience too,... I am thinking about saying this on a dating site. Let them know that I am not interested in anything but a companion. There may be someone out there that feels the same way.
