Self-Injury Support Group
Whether you or someone you know or love struggles with self-injury, this is the community to discuss your experience, find support, meet others going through the same, and get advice on how to stop. Working together, we can help find alternative coping skills to reduce the urge to self-harm.
Sit down at you table one evening when your calm and its quiet, put on some nice music that you enjoy and keeps you in a good mood.
Make a list of things you want to do, for the next 3 or 4 years. Draw a box off beside each thing so that when you do the thing you can put a check in the box.
Make your list of 10 - 15 things. You now have a reason to get better because you have things to do.
Find a Pdoc and start doing Therapy to help you snap out of the depression your having. Start talking about what types of bad feelings make you want to cut. you might want to check into a DBT class, its a Mindfullness Therapy Class that works well with Self Injury.
I guess my point is there are many things you can do to get yourself started and on a better track in life.
Take care,
Kat
