Self-Injury Support Group
Whether you or someone you know or love struggles with self-injury, this is the community to discuss your experience, find support, meet others going through the same, and get advice on how to stop. Working together, we can help find alternative coping skills to reduce the urge to self-harm.
Having said that, no he doesn't have the right to take all his problems out on you. So therapy would probably do him good. Therapy would definitely do you some good, are you under the care of a Pdoc currently?
And in the end it comes down to deciding if this is a relationship you want to stay in...if your guy isn't capable of change, or refuses to take measures to help him adjust, then you may have to quit the relationship. Because with all of your issues, a toxic relationship will just make your health go down hill.
Think about your situation, make some requests from your guy, and decide what route you should take. Just because we want to be with someone doesn't mean we're supposed to be with that someone.
Take care,
kat
