Umm how would I tell my mom I just need some help , the thing is though she freaks out so much even at the tinyest things and I just don't know how to confront her, usually when I try to have a serious disscusion with her we just end up arguing with each other ,and I definatly don't want to hurt her so any ideas...?

Perhaps after dinner and in a calm manner ask to talk to her and ask her to not get upset or be mad and then take it from there and maybe apologise for wht it is you have done in S>I. and show her youre willing to get help and that you need her for support and her love. i remember my junior year when my book of writtings got comfiscated from me.. the dean told my mom.. he recommended i get help.. but she and I talked and she said if I ever felt i needed the help to let her know.Summer of 2007 she had to pick me up from a 12 hr bakeraction she wasnt mad,she saw the minor cut and she helped me through it.. its sounds scarier than what it really is.She may yell she may cry...she may totally freak but yet she may be calm and help you get the treatment you need.. sometimes honesty is always the best route when you think its tht time to get help.id rather tell my mom than someone else... you do want her trust right? Hope this tidbit helps.. srry about speling errors im very sleepy :(

If you can catch her in a patient mood perhaps you could try to educate her. a good website is http://www.palace.net/~llama/psych/injury.html and you may even be able to educate yourself some before confronting her. be sure that you are ready to answer any and all questions she may have as she will probably have lots. get her to read through that site and let her know you are seeking help and that this isn't just something you are trying to do for attention. if you go into this educated yourself you have a much better chance at having a calm discussion with her and being able to keep things civil between you both. dont get upset because at first more than likely her reaction is going to be a negative one but stay focused on what you are trying to let her know and keep pushing for her to read up on this so she can understand whats going on with you. best of luck to you.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
