Self-Injury Support Group
Whether you or someone you know or love struggles with self-injury, this is the community to discuss your experience, find support, meet others going through the same, and get advice on how to stop. Working together, we can help find alternative coping skills to reduce the urge to self-harm.
Remember the coping skills that have gotten you this far. Distraction, the whole rubber band / marker / ice thing. Whatever else you have used.
I attended an art trade school in my thirties that hacd a lot of goth kids. SI scars they were quickly being cover by the 19 and 20 years olds with tatoos.
I think about having my removed. I talk to a 38 year old ex girl friend that had several doctors use lasers to try to fix her arm.
Truth is people will never stop thinking: " If they do that to themselves what might they do to me, my family, my children."
