I'm not a cutter but I self-harm myself physically thru hitting myself! Has anyone ever punched themselves in the head, bruised themself by slapping, pinching, etc.? The closests I've come to cutting was stapping myself with a steak knife - anyone ever do this? I hate myself so fucking much that I almost smashed a mirror after catching a glimpse of myself in it...

Actually hurting yourself the way you have is more common than some might think and cutting is far from the only self-harm method out there. Have you seen a dr about why you hate yourself so much?

i hit myself a few times, but it's not really my method of choice.....i have strong selg hatred thoughts and feelings as well.......many of these feelings stem from the fact that i think i have too many problems.....maybe you should see a therapist and they might be able ot hlep you figure out some reasons why the self hatred is so strong

I used to do that when they took my razors away. So, do you talk to someone about your feelings? I know art helps a lot of people.

I think I've told my doc about my self-hatred; if not I'm sure it's understood. My doc doesn't know about the self harming. I will bring it up on a future session. I haven't hit myself lately; it only happens when I get extremely frustrated with myself. There's alot of self-hate but I haven't retaliated on myself...

Ja be sure to bring it up and don't assume that the dr knows about the self-hatred. One thing I've learned about the medical establishment; they're not all as smart as we would like to believe and sometimes you have to point out the obvious to them.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
