Self-Injury Support Group
Whether you or someone you know or love struggles with self-injury, this is the community to discuss your experience, find support, meet others going through the same, and get advice on how to stop. Working together, we can help find alternative coping skills to reduce the urge to self-harm.

We can learn to do things that seem to help deal with our emotional problems, but they don't last and they don't really help, they just kind of bury them a little deeper each time, so they aren't right on the surface raw and constantly painful. Dealing with those emotions, learning to process them and learning ways to cope with the emotional pain takes away the need to cause yourself physical pain. It helps you find your purpose, the reason you're in this life, what you're meant to do...and I guarantee you have one. Talking to a Counselor at school or church. Or calling Social Services and asking about youth support groups in your area can often be a starting point. If your parents are supportive of you, asking them to get you a Counselor or Therapist to talk to is a good choice. There are many kids your age that have to deal with hard emotional issues every day, you are not alone, and you are not by far the only one around you dealing with this type of problem. Its okay to get help.
There's a great website that can give you some guidance on many of the issues I think your dealing with, its halfofus.com.
I hope your able to talk to someone and begin the journey of working through your emotions and living the life you're meant to safely.
