Self-Injury Support Group
Whether you or someone you know or love struggles with self-injury, this is the community to discuss your experience, find support, meet others going through the same, and get advice on how to stop. Working together, we can help find alternative coping skills to reduce the urge to self-harm.
And if no one else does, I would gladly team up with the both of you to beat this together. :-)
And I'm sorry if that sounds rude or anything, but I have become very bitter about receiving help from people who have quit or who have never done this. I have heard all the advice and suggestions they have and it is not what I want anymore.
Lol Maybe I'm over-thinking this. I always do.
I think maybe buddies would be better but still having a group environment for all of us to arch up with each other would be a good way to try it out.
Alright, good.
Buddies it is, then... but just so everyone on here knows, I'm always willing to help if any of you need anything. :-)
The idea of going through it all with someone sounds good. However you need to watch out that you dont become so wrapped up in the other persons recovery. If you become so codependent than you risk being triggered / set back in your recovery if the other person relapses/ anything else triggering.
Basically what Im saying is while in teaming up you can lift each other higher the opposite is also true you could drag each other down.
Just try to take that into consideration, please. Ive seen it happen and I would hate to see you in a more stressful place when you already have so much to deal with.
