I have recently started cutting again after 5 months. I use to always do it in the shower. Now it am back and doing it full force but now I do it any where and every where but not as often, as many cuts or as deep. I am afraid if I take the shower then I will go back to the 7 to 15 cuts in a sitting like I did before if I shower. I have only been around my house as of late (due to depression) So washing my hair in the sink every day or two and a wet wash cloth have sufficed. I am starting school again in two weeks so I am going to have to get clean somehow. I know this is a strange problem and sort of an embarrassing one for me to ask but I need ideas. Thanks. |/|

Is there any possible way to keep things that might trigger away from sight and out of the shower area?

yeah, for the time being, forget about shaving. Get rid of the razors if that is what you are using. And your depression needs addressing. Can you talk to someone irl?

I am pretty alone right now. I am seeing a therapist but not getting much out of it yet (given I have only seen her twice) My legs are really hairy now and it is keeping me even more locked up in my house. and being in the shower is a trigger.

have you spoke to a counselor at school about this? They are really used to helping out in situations like these. I would suggest getting busy doing something with your hands that doesn't involve self abuse.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
