It must be difficult having to have all the cutting tools around you again so have one or two very good distraction techniques will help when you have to use the tools for your art.
You said that you think you're getting urges for nothing. Noone gets urges to hurt themselves just randomly. Maybe you have some things going on under the surface?
Also, if you're already really stressed/depressed etc sometimes the smallest of things will tip you into an urge.
Id recommend sitting in a quiet room and writing whatever comes into your head. You can destroy it afterwards but use the exercise to try and work out how you're feeling or how your thoughts are affecting your mood.
If the urges are about not letting your feelings or thoughts out this will work wonders. It is something that needs to be done regularly until you feel comfortable opening to someone else
