I'm not sure anyone can give you a concrete answer on this....as each religion feels differently about it. Personally I believe in a loving, compassionate, forgiving God, so I don't think it's a automatic ticket to hell.

Thank you I would like to believe but if he is so compassionate and loving then why is their so much hatred and sadness I believe that he gave his son for us and our sins it is just so confusing when you think about it. He is my father in heaven and I hate disapointing him.

Yes religion can be very confusing and hard to understand when you get into it. The moment Adam & Eve ate that fruit, our total innocence and protection was gone and we were given Free Will.

Free Will can make you make a lot of mistakes, and it can make people do mean, cruel, evil things. The thing to remember is, if you're saved and you confess your sins to God, your forgiven. So that's something to go on.

I'm sure God weeps often over the mess that we've made of this world. And there's Satan at work in this world as well... I don't know why some people seem to have perfect, easy, stress free lives and some of us get hit with so much crap that its hard to not cave in from the weight of it. I always figure when I get to heaven I'll have all these questions as to "why" about so many things...then I think, but I'll be in Heaven so I'll probably forget or not think they were important anymore.

Suicide is a result of mental illness. Mental illness is an illness just like any other. Although, it may be considered a sin, it is not THE unforgiveable sin. I, also, believe that God weeps over the mess that we find the human condition, but he does not hold us accountable for the imperfections of our bodies. That being said, He reminds us to 'cry out' to Him in our pain, physical or emotional.

Look suicide will only make things worse sure it will never be better but if you commit suicide maggots will feast on your dead body.

But hell doesn't exist so you'll be fine.

SkiniMin, I'm going to continue with OlderCper's conversation. It is written in the Bible that when you are born again Jesus has taken all our sins upon himself as we confess them to him. We will be forgiven and saved for all eternity.

God weeps over the fact that you are hurting deeply and cutting and wanting to give up on living, He is sad that you are lost in your faith and you have given up on trusting Him to get you through your challenges in life. He is not mad at you.

The Bible also says that when you call upon the Lord Jesus and surrender your life to His care you will be saved; saved from eternal damnation. It is also written in the Bible that there is a hell (Hades in the Greek translation), an eternal damnation.

When you take your own life you are committing murder to yourself. One of the commandments in the Bible is "thou shall not commit murder."

So, I believe the Bible when it is written that when you call upon the Lord Jesus you will be saved from the eternal damnation from sin for all eternity. So, the sin that you are committing when you commit suicide is murder. You will be forgiven of that sin as long as you believe that Jesus is the son of God and died for us to make us acceptable in God's eyes and Jesus is your Lord and savior. You must truly understand this and believe in this with all your heart, mind and soul.

I would suggest you go to a Bible teaching church and find out for yourself the truth in God's word (the Bible)

Now with all that said, please do not end your life. You are so valuable to God. He made a wonderful creation by creating you. He treasures you. He has given you a specific purpose for your life. Aren't you just a little bit curious what that might be? Stay around and find out.

It is also written in the Bible that God is with us and will never leave us. Talk to Him, trust that He is listening and you will find comfort.

Psalm 34:18 "The Lord is near the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

Thanks and I do believe that God is my savior and that he sent his one and only son to die for our sins. I will never forget it He is the one person that I don't want to be disappointed in me but No matter how hard I try i always fail and feel that I let him down.
