has anyone else had iodine put on your cuts and scraps??? i did today and the pain is more than when i SI! owch!

Yeah! They use to do that in our elementary school - We didn't know it was iodine, but we called it the wicked orange goo - it made us really careful not to get hurt!

yes i had it done a few times it's to prevent infection

my parents use to use that when I was a kid... never liked it... but never thought of that as a way to curb SI... hmmmmmm

i hear iodine is very painful, after some really minor surgery a doctor/nurse put a piece of "dry iodine" on thewound and i dident feel a thing.
