in school i was so sick of my mom ignoring my depression and stuff so i cutt HELP ME on the top of me left hand, how the hell can i hide that from her till it heals?? im such an idiot for not thinking about what i was doing but idk what to do now. any one help?

Maybe you should not hide it. Do you think if she sees it she will take you seriously? Otherwise we would suggest wearing long sleeves with cuffs that cover most of your hand. If your Mom is not listening then perhaps you can confide in another adult (ie. a school counselor or teacher) that may be able to get you help for your depression. We know what that is like. Our Mom told us "Teenagers don't get depressed" so we went elsewhere for help. Good luck. ((HUGS))

maybe you could hide it with long sleeves if you don't want your mom finding out. but maybe if you really not sure about telling her then maybe if she sees it then its an opportunity to talk about whats going on. oops sorry, haha. i just read the first reply and it's pretty much the same

if it's small enough you can try a chunky watch or just long sleeves. if they aren't that deep and wont get infected you could try make up. if you put on a watch I would recomend a skin colored bandage under it. that's what I always do b/c it's almost fool proof. idk I hope I was helpful =/ good luck!

go buy some makeup. a concealer is what you'll need.

a concealer is like a "spot treatment" form of makeup. it looks like a tube of lipstick, but it's in a neutral color to blend in with your skin tone. you'll pay about $4 or more for it.

go for the solid sticks b/c they're cheaper. the more expensive kinds are liquid concealer.

I've definitely been there before, do you have any pets? I had one particular instance where I cut my wrist, and I had it covered with a bandage. my mother saw it at dinner though, and when she asked about it I blamed it on the cat. maybe a friend of yours has a pet? or you could just make up that a friend has a pet if she wouldn't be able to verify that.
