Self-Injury Support Group
Whether you or someone you know or love struggles with self-injury, this is the community to discuss your experience, find support, meet others going through the same, and get advice on how to stop. Working together, we can help find alternative coping skills to reduce the urge to self-harm.

That isn't how your brain works. Cutting/Self harm works on the Pleasure Center of your brain like any other addiction, it's why its hard to stop...hard not impossible.
Cutting is a Learned Behavior, and it can be un-Learned, but you have to learn other Positive Coping Skills and ways to deal with the emotions/trauma/pain that your currently using the cutting to deal with.
When your at the point that you're at, In-patient treatment is a good idea. A good program can help you learn how to stop hurting yourself and process your emotional pain in a way that's healing and helps you work through it. So it's not constantly in your head running around on a hamster wheel, always there.
When you get to a point where your numbing yourself with alcohol and randomly cutting to the point that you are, it can cross over to suicidal ideation very quickly with very little thought. And this has nothing to do with biblical reasoning or religion. It's a Mental Illness and has to be treated, just like any other illness.
You need to get Professional help and get this under control before it completely destroys your life.
Take care,
Kat
