Hello. I am 16 years old and suffer from bipolar disorder and anxiety. I have been self-injuring for close to two years now and have accumulated a good number of scars. They're mainly on my thighs, which isn't that much of a problem until summer. I can't wear shorts without constantly pulling them down or covering my legs. And I don't swim a lot and I haven't in the last year. But I don't know what I would do if I had to wear a swimming suit in public. Any advice?

It has been my experience that people rarely notice things unless you make it seem like you are hiding something, I have scars all over my arms but don't wear long sleeves unless the cuts are new. For better or worse your scars are now a part of you and you can either accept that and deal with any unwanted glances, or simply not swim. But I honestly don't think people will pay any attention to them.

When my thighs needed covering up, I used to wear boys' long swimshorts and bikini top, works well if you get shorts that fit just right and looks cool (plus you can wear the shorts other times too and it's fairly cool (in my eyes at least)

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
