Self-Injury Support Group
Whether you or someone you know or love struggles with self-injury, this is the community to discuss your experience, find support, meet others going through the same, and get advice on how to stop. Working together, we can help find alternative coping skills to reduce the urge to self-harm.
worldofblah4, drinking ice-water is something I haven't heard before, I'll try that. Thanks for your advice. :-)
Amisea, that's really comforting to know you get it exactly, I know it's not really a long-term solution, but it has helped me at times. My worry is one day I'm going to be in such a low place and self-injury won't be enough, I've ended up in A&E twice before after trying to kill myself, and I'm terrified of being in that place again.
However, I will send you my response to that message by hug book, okay? I will not send you a p.m. reply in response to your message because I have experienced a mix-up in messages before while pming (I received another persons private message), so I really dont feel comfortable while chatting by private messages, and I certainly will be discreet while addressing your message(s) through the hug box or even by writing to you by your journals. And you may always speak to me as you write in your journals; please write. If communicating by this way is not what you prefer, then its okay to remove me from your friends list. I understand. Thank you!
