Self Hate Syndrome Community Group
This is a group designed to offer support to people who believe they are fundamentally bad and deserve to be punished. Here we can learn to stop the unholy war we have been waging against ourselves.

They are both nice people. Sometimes nice folks don't get along, but I wish both of them the best.

Everyone... Steve needs a reminder that he is loved and appreciated today. We all know what it can be like to have condemning eyes around us... we all know how self hate can grip on and not let go even when we think we've made a little progress.... GIVE STEVE SOME LOVE!!!

To anyone out there who still loves Steve, I want you to know that he is alive. He battles mania every day - and has since June 2015. I am his wife. We live four hours from each other because I cannot yet deal with the mania and how it turns his mind against me. I just saw him this weekend. He's pretty disillusioned with life, love, and friendship. He still tries to make the world a better place, mostly in the realms of those who find themselves homeless. He's walked in those shoes many times and understands the challenges. Inside him is the heart that started this group, that kept it going through encouraging words and expressions of hope. If it's any consolation, he has recently said (with no little amazement about it), "I actually like myself." If he can do it, so can you!
